Report by Ben Cunningham:

After an exciting start to the new season league action takes a break this weekend as this weekend sees the first round of the Mixed Cup, Plate and Bowl as well as the U15’s league continuing.

In the cup - Vikings B who got their first win of the season last weekend - play a Castletown Celts side who have had a great start to their campaign and will be looking to have a great run in this cup.

Bacchas B - who are still looking for their first win of the season - face Vikings A who currently remain undefeated in the league.

Valkyrs A the current premiership holders meeting Baccahs A who are the current cup holders, these two sides met in the final last year and it was a thrilling final with Valkyrs coming back to level the game at 4-4 after being 4-1 behind only for Bacchas to take it in the final few moments of the game... could we see this match happen again like that?

In the plate, Castletown Southerners - who are looking strong in Division One - meet Vikings D who look to have found their feet taking their first win of the season last weekend.

Elsewhere Vikings C face Bacchas C in a battle of the C teams, Bacchas currently lead the Division One league but Vikings C are down towards the bottom, could a good run in the plate help boost Vikings C's confidence?

In the Bowl, the Division Two leaders Harlequins B face Vikings E who currently sit Second in Mixed Division Three - this will be a close match and could possibly come down to penalty flicks.

Ramsey Ravens - who have had a mixed bag of a season so far - meet Castletown Cammags who have also had a mix of results so far this season.

Finally Valkyrs D welcome Castletown Cushags with the westerners hoping a good run in the bowl will help their form in the league but Cushags come into this match top of Mixed Division Three.

All cup games if level at full time will go straight to plenty flicks to determine a winner on the day.

Finally in the mixed U15’s league which has been really entertaining to see develop, Valkyrs play Vikings; Bacchas Play Castletown Sharks and Harlequins meet Castletown Sabres.
