Cricket - the Isle of Man remain top of the I.C.C. European Under-19 Division Two Championship table after another convincing win.
They beat Germany by 124 runs at Brussels in Belgium today.
The island won the toss and batted first in the 50 over contest. They made a very convincing 260 for 8 with Max Stokoe hitting 74 and Jack Rowlands 56.
Germany were restricted by tight bowling and good fielding and were eventually bowled out for 136 - Danny Hawke led the way with bowling figures of 3 for 40.
The latest victory means the Manx are 4 points clear at the top-of-the-table but hosts Belgium and Italy both have a game in hand.
The final game is on Saturday against Belgium and a win would make sure the silverware comes back to the island - indeed, they are in a very strong position already because of the way they have won matches by good margins.
