Formula One star set for Palace
Former British Grand Prix winner Johnny Herbert is to replace John Surtees at the first Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club dinner of 2017.
Surtees has had to pull out of the date due to ill health.
Herbert is a former British Junior Karting Champion and Formula Three title holder.
He was involved in a mass pile-up at Brands Hatch during his Formula One debut season which threatened to end his career.
He recovered from his injuries and won the British Grand Prix in 1995.
Herbert has also won the 24 hour race at Le Mans.
