Yorkshire rider took MGP win on debut appearance in 2024

Manx Grand Prix competitor, Harley Rushton admits he's been 'bitten by the bug' of racing on the Isle of Man in the last two years.

The Yorkshire rider took victory as a newcomer on the Snaefell Mountain Course in 2024, claiming top spot in the Junior Classic race.

Back again on modern machinery this year, he claimed a top-ten finish in the Supertwin MGP race and set a lap record for the class in the process.

Speaking on Manx Radio's 'Journey To A Dream' podcast, Rushton says he's learned much about what it takes to race here, including how much of his time during the year is taken up with preparations:

He's also stated he's planning to return to the Manx Grand Prix in 2026 in both the Supersport and Supertwin classes.

Separately, Rushton has also been competing on the Billown Course at the Pre-TT Classic Road Races.

In 2025 at that meeting he took a podium finish of second in the 350cc Junior race and finished just outside the top three in fourth spot in the 1100cc Classic.
