Hanson out as T.T. Clerk of the Course

Neil Hanson will not be Clerk of the Course at T.T. 2008.

In November, a week after the surprise announcement that A.C.U. Events Limited would replace the Manx Motor Cycle Club as T.T. organiser, Mr Hanson received a letter from A.C.U. Chairman Jim Parker. It stated they were "unable to offer him the position" as it was felt "a change was needed".

Mr Hanson has also resigned from the post of Clerk of the Course for the Manx Grand Prix, and called time on forty years as a member of the Manx Motor Cycle Club committee.
