Government to run racing in 2017

No contract yet with Vision Nine

The Isle of Man Government will continue to organise the 2017 T.T. and Classic T.T. races.

The Department of Economic Development has confirmed a delay in appointing preferred bidders Vision Nine as the new promoter for the two events.

Operational issues raised by other government departments is one of the factors behind the contract not being signed.

Both parties have expressed their disappointment but are said to be trying to work towards an agreement with a new start date.
