Good start for Manx golfer Gandy in Portugal

First round of 69 for Rowany player

Isle of Man golf professional Tom Gandy has made a positive start to his latest event on the European Tour.

The Rowany player shot a 2 under par round of 69 to be inside the top 30 at the Portugal Masters.

He had 5 birdies and 3 bogeys in his opening round at the Victoria Course in Vilamoura.

Gandy is playing in a quality field which includes world ranked number 16 Tommy Fleetwood who opened with a round of 68.
