Manx professional inside top 20 after 2 rounds

Isle of Man golf professional Tom Gandy has made the cut at the Portugal Masters.

The European Tour event is taking place at the Victoria Course in Vilamoura.

The Rowany player carded a second round 68 having posted a 69 on Thursday to be 5 under for the tournament.

Today's round included 6 birdies alongside 1 bogey and a double-bogey on the par 3 16th hole.

Gandy is inside the top 20 going into the weekend with the weather forecast suggesting stronger winds and the possibility of thunderstorms later on Sunday.
