Manx competitor continuing to learn trade in second pro season

Manx golfer Ana Dawson says she's been discovering the different ways to progress and succeed in the sport in her second season as a professional player.

The former Peel competitor made her maiden appearance on the Ladies European Tour (LET) last year and took part in numerous other pro competitions in her quest to rise up the rankings.

Now, along with her LET commitments she's been taking part in the LET Access Series - the tournament just below the tour itself - and has moved into the top-20 in the series' order of merit.

As well as having several more fixtures on that to come, Dawson is eyeing a good run in the Pre-Qualifying for the AIG Women's Open at Delamere Forest this Sunday (28 July).
