20 players progress after weekend qualifiers at Mount Murray
This week will see 20 golfers fighting for supremacy going into the knockout phases of this year's Isle of Man Golf Championships.
Sixteen men's players and four female competitors form the lineup following the qualifying stage at Mount Murray Golf Club held across Saturday and Sunday (6-7 July).
In the mix will be defending men's and women's champions - Robert Noon and Kayleigh Dawson - who're both targeting third successive titles.
Among those joining Noon in the men's matchplay stage will be Daryl Callister - who set the leading qualifying score at level par on 142 - with 2023 Island Games team members James Arneil and Liam Cowin rounding out the men's top four.
Meanwhile in the women's competition, defending title holder Dawson will be joined in the semi-finals by Emma Noon, Shirley Price and Diane Neale.
In a close-fought qualifying stage in the female class both Karen Faragher and Kelly McMullin only narrowly missed out on places in the final four.
