Golf: Dawson maintains lead at Ladies Pro-Am

Manx player extends advantage after day two

Manx professional golfer has maintained her superiority on day two of the Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am event today (17 February).

Having led yesterday on one-under-par after a round total of 71, the Peel-born player excelled further in today's second phase with a round of 69 to move onto four-under-par.

It takes Dawson two shots clear of her nearest competitors Alexandra Swayne and Kylie Henry, who're both on two-under-par.

The final day of the competition will be held tomorrow (18 February).
