Manx player finishes in top 35 of world-class field
Manx competitor Ana Dawson has finished the final qualifier for the Ladies European Tour with an excellent score to end a challenging five-round series in Spain.
After making the cut with the top international players at the event on Tuesday (20 December) - Ana took to the south course of the Real Golf La Manga Club in the fifth and final stage yesterday (21 December) on a score of three-over-par.
Ana put in an excellent display to finish the course with a four-under-par tally as she recorded four birdies throughout the session and finish one-under-par overall.
As a result, Ana finishes tied in 31st place, only two shots off the top 20 in the highest category.
Overall, Alexandra Forsterling and Polly Mack, both of Germany, have finished joint-winners of the qualifier both on fifteen-under-par.
Nastasia Nadaud of France finished on fourteen-under and Ana Belac of Slovakia just behind on thirteen-under.
