Glover inspired Braddan beat leaders

Hat-trick at Victoria Road

Braddan took a big step towards promotion to the Premier League last night.

They thrashed already promoted Division Two leaders Douglas Royal 6-2 at Victoria Road with Andy Glover leading the way with a hat-trick.

Elsewhere, Foxdale overcame Onchan 4-3 at Billygoat Park, Pulrose defeated Marown 4-2 and Gymns beat Douglas & District 3-0.

In the top flight, runners-up Corinthians finished their campaign with a 4-1 win over Union Mills to finish 14 points behind champions St. George's.

And Old Boys and Peel drew 2-2 at Blackberry Lane which means the westerners finish in fifth.
