Peter Glover has been crowned winner of the 2014 Grant Thornton Isle of Man Close Amateur Golf Championship for the first time.
The Douglas member defeated 2010 champion Daryl Callister 2&1 at Castletown to clinch his first Island crown on Saturday.
Glover seemed well on course for victory after a blistering opening round saw him race into a 5-up lead.
However, Callister rallied and even drew level before a delighted Glover regained his composure to take the title on the penultimate hole.
