Gillings at Italian World round

Zoe Gillings is in Italy for the latest round of the Snowboardcross World Cup.

It will be 25-year-olds first appearance in the competition this season, following her recovery from a knee injury sustained at last February's Olympic Games in Vancouver.

Zoe managed a very creditable seventh place at the World Championships at La Molina in Spain in January and won two races at events in Italy at the end of last month.

Qualifying at Valmalenco takes place tomorrow (Thursday) with the top sixteen going through to the finals on Friday.
