Gibraltar bid to host 2019 Island Games

Gibraltar could be set to host the 2019 Island Games.

Recently, Menorca informed the International Island Games Association that they are unable to deliver the event due to funding cuts.

Detailed discussions between Gibraltar and the Association have taken place since the Jersey Games earlier this summer.

Gibraltar has been invited to submit a formal bid by the end of September.
