Gerrard Selected for Europeans

Peel athlete Keith Gerrard has been selected to represent Great Britain in next month's European Cup 10,000 metres.

The race takes place oin Bilbao on Sunday 3rd June.

The other two selected are John Beattie and James Walsh who is a former winner of the Easter Athletics Festival.

Gerrard is still trying to gain a consideration time for selection for the London Olympics.
