Cyclists and Motor Sport competitors dominate the nominations in the main categories for the 2007 Sports Awards.
Seven people have been nominated in two categories - cyclists Jonny Bellis, Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh, motor racer Alex Lloyd, Enduro rider David Knight, snowboarder Zoe Gillings and swimmer Olivia Rawlinson.
Isle of Man Sports Council Chairman Geoff Karran says just gaining a nomination is now a major achievement:-
