Gandy in superb form in South Africa

Rowany golfer on leaderboard with final round to come

It's been a brilliant third round for Isle of Man Golf professional Tom Gandy at the Sunshine Tour Dimension Data Pro-Am at Fancourt in South Africa.

He fired a 6-under par 66 to put him in tied 7th position on 13-under par for the tournament.

The Rowany player produced a faultless 18 holes with no dropped shots and 6 birdies.

As a way of comparison, Tom Gandy is 7 shots better off than 4-time major winner Ernie Els, who has also tasted victory at the World Matchplay 7 times and racked up 70 career titles.

Els also missed the cut ahead of the final round on Sunday.
