Organisers 'delighted' agreement has been reached
A funding package has been agreed to allow the North West 200 to go ahead in 2023.
The package, believed to be in the region of £275,000, has been given the green light by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
Organisers of the event say they're 'delighted' the arrangement has been reached, adding the races play 'a vital role' in the economy of Northern Ireland's north coast area.
The 2023 event is scheduled to take place from 7-13 May - just over two weeks before next year's Isle of Man TT Races.
