Foxdale promotion push takes setback

Onchan move top

Foxdale’s promotion push was held up by Union Mills on Saturday.

They were held at home to a 1-1 draw in JCK Division Two.

With Foxdale drawing and other contenders in cup action, Onchan have moved top of the table after a Chris Asbridge goal sealed a fine 1-0 victory over Ramsey Youth Centre.

At the other end of the table, Gymns and Michael Utd shared four goals at Tromode.

Daniel Kewley and Wes Gibson found the net for Gymns and Steven Quayle (penalty) and John Birch were the Michael scorers.
