Funds raised for Craig Heartstrong Foundation
Manx footballers Island-wide are aiming to keep fit during lockdown while raising money for a charity dear to the local football community.
Thanks to a lightbulb moment from local legend Sean Doyle, the Isle of Man FA is encouraging its players to take part in its Craig Heartstrong Foundation - 5K Lockdown Run Challenge.
The organisation hopes it will unite people during a difficult time and get people out the house for some fresh air, helping to boost both physical and mental health.
How it works is, you are nominated by someone, then you have to either walk, jog, or run 5K, donate £5 to the Craig Heartstrong Foundation, then nominate five other people.
All funds raised for the charity will go towards getting more defibrillators in public places around the Island.
If you'd like to donate, you can do so here.
