Women's league season gets underway
Rushen United have gone top of the Canada Life Premier League.
They beat Old Boys 2-0 on Saturday, 13 September to go first in the table, capitalising on Corinthians 1-1 draw with Peel.
Rushen are now one of two teams along with Laxey to maintain a perfect record in the division.
The Miners beat Ayre 2-1 to reach 12 points after four games, two goals behind Rushen on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Foxdale's poor start to the season continued as they lost 5-1 Union Mills to stay bottom of the table.
In the Ardern & Druggan Division 2, Castletown won again at the weekend to go top of the table by four points.
They beat Douglas & District 5-0.
Rushen are also first in the Canada Life Combination 1 and Pulrose sit top of the Ardern & Druggan Combination 2.
Elsewhere, there was one game played in the Canada Life Womens League on a weather affected Sunday, 14 September.
Onchan beat Rushen 3-2.
