Pitch inspections likely after wet week

Football is back after it's enforced break.

However, the heavy rain over the past week could mean many planned fixtures over the weekend are postponed.

Pitch inspections will take place at many grounds before we know what's on and what's off.

Games postponed so far are:-

Canada Life Premier League - Ayre v St. Georges

 JCK Limited Division Two - Foxdale v Onchan

Combination One - Ramsey v Douglas Royal

Combination Two - Ramsey Youth Centre v Douglas & District

The top two sides in the Canada Life Premier League are set to meet at Ballafletcher when leaders Corinthians host nearest challengers Rushen on Saturday afternoon.

The home side have a 7 point advantage but have played a game more - both sides have yet to suffer a defeat.

The teams drew 1-1 when they met at Croit Lowey back in September.
