Castletown edge in front again at the top of Division 2

Two late goals saw reigning Canada Life Men's Premier League champions, Peel salvage a point in an entertaining 3-3 draw during yesterday's Isle of Man football clashes.

The stalemate at Douglas Road means Corinthians remain unbeaten at the summit of the top-flight but their lead now cut to four points over St John's United in second who were commanding winners over Colby.

Slghtly further back, Union Mills move up to third after taking three points in a seven-goal thriller at Laxey whilst Peel drop into fourth.

Elsewhere during Saturday's showdowns, Castletown moved back to the top of Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 after a 3-3 home draw against St George's.

The result sees Castletown move one point ahead of Foxdale in second who were without a game this weekend.

Outside of the Division 2 top two, Gymns moved to within two points of Foxdale after a draw at Ayre United whilst Pulrose United go to within one point of Gymns in third after a comfortable home win over Douglas Royal.
