Football: Peel and Corinthians maintain perfect start

Castletown stay top of Division 2

Peel and Corinthians have maintained their 100 percent win record in the 2026/27 Canada Life Premier League on Saturday (5 September). 

The high-scoring Westerners beat a struggling Laxey team by six goals to nil, which gives them a plus 16 goal-difference after three games played. 

Meanwhile, Corinthians edged passed St Mary's courtesy of a Sean Doyle strike. 

In the Ardern & Druggan Division 2, Castletown's 3-1 victory over Marown keeps them alone at the summit of the standings with nine points from nine. 

Elsewhere, Foxdale picked up their first win of the season with a 4-2 win at St Georges.
