Football: Manx teams learn Island Games group stage opponents

26 Island nations to contest sport in Guernsey this summer

The Isle of Man's national football squads have learned who their group stage opponents will be for the 2023 Island Games.

There are 16 teams in total in the men's category and ten taking part in the women's competition.

The Isle of Man men's side have been drawn in Group 2 and will take on Ynys Mon, Falkland Islands and Shetland Islands.

Meanwhile, the women's squad are in a three-team group where they'll take on Isle of Wight and Menorca.

The 2023 Island Games will take place in Guernsey from 8-14 July this year.
