Football fans say they feel betrayed by the Steam Packet Company after the publication of its new winter schedule.
The Ben-my-Chree will make one trip to Merseyside each Saturday, but return fast craft services to Merseyside have been suspended until the end of February.
It means hundreds of fans hoping to see Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United and other Northwest clubs can’t get there and back in a single day.
Chairman of the Everton Supporters Club in the Island, Juan Kermode, is dismayed at the Steam Packet’s decision (audio file attached):
