Combination teams will now play 36 games
Isle of Man Division 2 sides are set to play each other three times this season.
The decision comes after Douglas Athletic, Michael United and Gymnasium announced they would only be entering combination teams for the season.
As it stands, clubs in the Ardern & Druggan Division 2 were only due to play 18 games, however, they will now play 27.
It will also affect the combination sides which means each team, in the Ardern & Druggan Combination 2 will play 36 games in total.
The move comes after consultation with the clubs involved and the League Management Committee.
Committee Chairman and FA President Tony Mepham said: "Following feedback from the clubs involved, the overall agreement is that playing more football is the better option".
