Swans overcome Corinthians in title-decider at The Bowl
Braddan have been crowned this year's Isle of Man Under-18 League champions after a crucial 4-0 win over fellow title contenders Corinthians last night (13 March).
In Wednesday evening's showdown at The Bowl both sides had a chance to clinch the silverware with Braddan needing just a draw whilst Corinthians required a victory.
Braddan opened the scoring through Ryan Edwards on 25 minutes to take a slender lead into half-time before they doubled their advantage through a Lex Madey strike one minute into the second period.
On 58 minutes, the leaders were then awarded a penalty which Dan Kinrade duly stepped up to tuck away to add a third.
The icing on the cake for the impending winners came late on in the 80th minute as Harley Jackson got on the scoresheet to hand 'The Swans' a fourth.
Along with securing the league title, Braddan also finish the season with an unbeaten record over their seven games of six wins and one draw.
