It's the first of three finals in last week of current season
Braddan and Douglas High School Old Boys (DHSOB.) will meet tonight (14 May) to decide who will win this year's Paul Henry Gold Cup.
In what is the final week of the 2024/25 Isle of Man football season, the two will do battle at The Bowl in Douglas for the silverware with kick-off scheduled for 7pm.
Braddan will be looking to complete a treble this campaign having already been crowned Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 champions on 30 March and winning the GH Corlett Woods Cup a few weeks later on 18 April.
Meanwhile, Douglas High School Old Boys have also enjoyed a positive league journey having finished second in the Division 2 standings to promoted along with their opponents tonight to the Canada Life Men's Premier League for 2025/26.
The two sides have met twice this season - both in the league - with Braddan winning on both occasions.
Furthermore, tonight's showdown is the first of three cup finals to take place this week with the Manx Quality Sheds Hospital Cup final coming up on Saturday (17 May) followed by the Masters FA Cup final a day later (18 May).
Elsewhere last night (13 May) the final match of the Canada Life Men's Premier League took place at Billy Goat Park with Ayre United earning a narrow 1-0 victory over hosts Foxdale.
As a result, Ayre United finish the campaign second in the table and two points behind champions Peel whilst Foxdale - promoted into the top flight last season - finish seventh.
