Football: 2025 Woods Cup enters quarter-final phase

Eight Division 2 sides vying to progress again (Fixtures: 22-23 Feb)

Eight Division 2 teams remain to battle it out for this year's GH Corlett Woods Cup with the quarter-finals of the competition taking place this weekend.

Four fixtures are penned in for Saturday (22 February) starting at the earlier time of 1.45pm before regular league fixtures get underway later in the afternoon.

In the cup, Division 2 leaders Braddan are on the road at Pulrose United whilst Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys (Rycob.) - who went second in the league table last weekend - are at home against Castletown for the second time in seven days.

Elsewhere, Douglas High School Old Boys (Dhsob.) will be hoping to end a run of three games without a win at Michael United and high-flying Colby host Douglas Royal.

Meanwhile, Saturday's league clashes include six ties in the Canada Life Men's Premier League.

Among those, league leaders Peel could go six points clear at the top if they win at home to Rushen United and nearest challengers Corinthians are beaten at home by Foxdale.

Laxey - just three points behind Corinthians in third - host Ramsey whilst in-form St Mary's - only a point further back on Laxey - travel to struggling St George's.
