It'll be the first of six consecutive home games for 'The Ravens'
FC Isle of Man entertain NWCFL Premier Division leaders, Wythenshawe this weekend in what will be the first of six consecutive home matches for 'The Ravens.'
The meeting between the two sides at The Bowl in Douglas tomorrow (21 February) will be the first in two weeks the Island side have stepped onto the pitch after their tie last weekend was postponed due to poor weather.
Whilst the hosts will be aiming to make it three unbeaten, they face a fierce test from a visiting outfit that sits 12 points clear at the top of the table in its aim to return to the Northern Premier League system.
What's more, Wythenshawe outclassed FC Isle of Man in the reverse fixture between the two earlier in the season, cruising to a 4-0 victory in August 2025.
A narrow victory over Euxton Villa in their last outing means Rick Holden's FC Isle of Man side currently have a healthy 18-point cushion away from the relegation zone and if they were to upset the odds and take maximum points tomorrow night could climb as many as three places up the division to 16th.
On top of that and despite a 49-point gap between themselves and their latest opponents, the Manx side have won all three of their previous home fixtures against Wythenshawe (formerly Wythenshawe Amateurs) in all competitions.
Meanwhile, following relegation from the Northern Premier League West in the last campaign, Wythenshawe have responded in imperious fashion so far this season to move into a commanding position at the summit of the NWCFL Premier Division.
Currently on a run of four straight victories, James Kinsey's side have also only tasted defeat in the league once since late October last year.
FC Isle of Man vs Wythenshawe will take place at The Bowl in Douglas this Saturday (21 February), with kick-off scheduled for 6pm.
Manx Radio will be providing full live match commentary on our DAB and AM1368 channels.
