Ravens' opponents head into weekend after back-to-back league wins
FC Isle of Man will be aiming to make it three matches unbeaten for the first time this season when they head back on their travels in the NWCFL Premier Division this weekend.
With a win and a draw in their last two, Rick Holden's side head to Burscough to face City of Liverpool on Saturday afternoon (25 October).
'The Ravens' go into the weekend 22nd in the league standings and four points above the drop zone with their opponents just three points better off at this stage.
Should the Manx side come away from their trip with three points, they could realistically climb as many as two places up the table depending on results elsewhere.
Saturday's encounter will be the first time the two teams have met in any competition.
FC Isle of Man will be hoping to avoid a repeat of their last journey to The Community Ground where a second-half collapse saw them fall to a stinging 5-0 defeat at the hands of Burscough.
Meanwhile, since dropping down from the Northern Premier League system last season it's been an almost-equally challenging start to the season for Karl Clair's City of Liverpool side.
They've managed four wins from their opening 14 league contests but will head into Saturday following back-to-back league victories in their last two against Pilkington and Stockport Town.
City of Liverpool vs FC Isle of Man will kick-off at The Community Ground tomorrow at 3.30pm.
