McVey misses early penalty in close contest
FC Isle of Man were made to pay for missed chances as they went down 2-0 against AFC Liverpool at The Bowl last night (17 December).
Tom Croughan’s close-range finish after 26 minutes put the visitors ahead before they doubled their lead through an exquisite free-kick from William McCarthy ten minutes later.
It could’ve been different before that however as FC Isle of Man’s Jack McVey struck the post from the penalty spot after just 11 minutes.
