Sporting Club Isle of Man to become a charity
The vice-chairman of Sporting Club Isle of Man says yesterday was a "new and exciting chapter for Manx sporting endeavours," with the organisation being officially launched.
Paul Jones spoke to Manx Radio about the announcement:
Sporting Club Isle of Man will become a charity in the near future, where members of the community can pay a membership subscription to become a part of it.
Clubs owned by that body, including FC Isle of Man, will always be at least 51% owned by those members - as written in the articles of association.
