Europe Netball cite 'safety and wellbeing of everyone involved'
An international netball event has been cancelled just over a week before it was set to get underway.
The Europe Netball Open Challenge tournament was due to be held in Cardiff from 7-11 May 2025.
It was to field teams from France, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Israel, Malta and Switzerland, alongside the Wales U21 side, at the House of Sports.
However, the event had been hit with some controversy in recent days, with pro-Palestine campaigners reportedly calling for organisers to exclude Israel from the competition.

Isle of Man Netball had named its new coaching team to lead the Manx Rams at the tournament and earlier today had confirmed its co-captains and midcourters.
