Success in Bowhunter Championships
Isle of Man archer Lesley Sleight struck gold at the English Bowhunter Championships in Nottinghamshire at the weekend.
She won the Ladies Traditional Recurve class.
On the first day Lesley shot a personal best score of 223, improving her previous mark by 42 points.
That was enough to give her records in two classes as well - Ladies Traditional Recurve and Veteran Ladies.
On the second day Lesley finished with a score of 442 in 3D Unmarked Big Game, 28 points more than her previous best in the category.
A finishing score of 665 gave her the championship title.
