Emerging Nomads through in Manx Plate

Emerging Nomads knocked Plate holders Ramsey B out of the competition with a 31-15 win at Poulsom Park.

Tries from Chris Beaumont, Josh Samuels and a penalty try, plus two conversions, from Dave Edge, put Nomads 19-0 ahead.

Orry Watterson pulled one back for Ramsey leaving it poised 19-5 at half-time.

Craig Harlick’s debut try for Ramsey got them back to 19-10 in the second half but two quick scores from Kieran Stephens and Gerard Landells pushed Nomads clear leaving Tom Moss to score a late consolation for Ramsey.
