Election candidate appears in court

A candidate in next week's general election has admitted driving while disqualified.

Nigel Dobson (pictured) appeared before the deputy high bailiff today (Friday).

He was bailed to appear in court again on October 21, by which time social reports will have been prepared.

Nigel Dobson is a member of the Liberal Vannin Party and is one of two candidates contesting the single-seat constituency of Garff.

The other is Steve Rodan.
