Tim Howard comes out of retirement
Manx professional footballer Liam Doyle will line up in front of one of the best American goalkeepers of his generation for the new USL Championship season.
Tim Howard has come out of retirement at the age of 40 to play for Memphis 901FC.
He is already a part-owner of the club, as well as being its sporting director.
Howard spent 13 years in England with Manchester United and Everton and won 121 caps for the US national side during his career.
He most recently played for Colorado Rapids in MLS, retiring in October last year.
Twenty-seven-year-old centre-back Doyle is about to enter his second season with Memphis.
