Manx footballer hoping to impress

Manx footballer Liam Doyle will take part in the 2016 Adidas Major League Soccer Player Combine from tomorrow.

It follows a successful time playing and captaining the Ohio State University side.

He will be hoping to impress at the Combine at Fort Lauderdale in Florida where coaches, scouts and general mangers will be watching.

Doyle could go on to the MLS Superdraft if the next week goes well.

He spoke to Manx Radio just before Christmas and mentioned his time at Ohio and playing against an international opponent:-
