
Douglas just edged out Wallasey at Port-e-Chee in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two with the final score of the game giving them a 22-17 win.
The game was finely poised at half-time with Douglas leading 3-0 courtesy of a Tim Mitchell penalty.
In the second half, Cark Markle-Fearns added two tries to the Douglas tally, both converted by Mitchell, before Toompere popped up with the winner.
