Promotion push gathers pace
Douglas kept the pressure on South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One league leaders Manchester with a 38-20 bonus point win away at Manchester Medics on Saturday.
Guy Wood was the main man for Douglas with two tries and there were also scores from Max Singer, Conor Stephens, Simon Hoddinott and Bryn Snellgrove, who also kicked four conversions.
Douglas have an excellent opportunity to close the gap next Saturday when they host bottom side Oswestry, while Manchester travel to third placed Broughton Park.
