Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield preview
There’s just one game in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield this weekend and it’s at Poulsom Park where Castletown take on defending champions Douglas Celts.
The Celts currently lie in second place but have a game in hand on leaders Southern Nomads.
A win for the away side this week will see them draw level at the top of the table and barring a total disaster will see the Shield decided by a one-off play-off game.
Castletown have been improving in recent weeks but go into this game as underdogs.
