Douglas’ stuttering start to the season continued as they went down 15-5 at home to Moore in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.
Douglas took an early lead through a Tom Chamberlain try and held onto it until half-time.
They faded in the second half, however, as Moore reeled them in and passed them.
It was double bad news for Douglas who lost skipper Niall Killey with a rib injury which could sideline him for a few weeks.
