Douglas lost at home in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two to league leaders Warrington, going down 17-10 in a tight game at Port-e-Chee.
A try, a penalty and a conversion from Warrington full back Matt Rucky gave them an early 10-0 lead.
Douglas pulled a try back through Sam Randle and left the game finely poised 10-5 at half-time.
A second half try from Andy Almond, converted by Rucky, extended the Warrington lead to 17-5 before a late try from Adam Howarth pulled Douglas back into the game although it was just too late to make any difference.
