Douglas beat Ruskin Park 3-0 at Port-e-Chee to move into third place in South Lancashire/Chesire Division Two.
A 47th minute penalty from Douglas’ Mike Hebden was the only score in what was a hugely entertaining game despite the difficult conditions.
It kept alive Douglas' promotion hopes.
