
Douglas B set the cat amongst the pigeons when they beat Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield leaders Southern Nomads 20-7 at Port-e-Chee.
New dad Niall Killey picked up two tries for Douglas and there were also tries from Mike Hebden and Liam Murphy.
All Nomads’ points came from Dave Caldwell, courtesy of a try and conversion.
Douglas now move into second place with a game in hand.
