Douglas B finish Shield in style

Douglas B tied for runners-up spot in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield with Southern Nomads after they beat Castletown 78-3 at Poulsom Park.

Alex Long bagged a hat-trick for Douglas and there were also tries from Jack Fallon (two), Glenn Smith, Mark Shortland, Ben Dutnall, Andy Evans, Dayle Collister, Mark McGee and Charlie Henthorne.

Alex Long rounded off a good day at the office with nine conversions to give himself a 33 point haul.
